Hi Wooshin, As I know, you are working with I2C command for A113X I2S BCLK ready. I know you will need time to implement it. So, for AMP driver implementation, I will add a fixed value to delay AMP driver initialization before you finish this command. But, I need your help to add the /usr/bin/speaker_process to init.d to measure the delay time the AMP driver needs to delay. So, please give me a test image that will automatically run /usr/bin/speaker_process when A113X boots. |

BFX-UA300:/ # i2cget -y 0 0x20 0 0x78 BFX-UA300:/ # i2cget -y 0 0x20 1 0x56 BFX-UA300:/ # i2cget -y 0 0x20 2 0x34 BFX-UA300:/ # i2cget -y 0 0x20 3 0x12 If you get other value, A113x is error status. Hi Wooshin, I tested 4/19 and 4/20 images. All has I2S output automatically. And 4/20 image has I2C command support. I have few suggestions for these images: 1.For the I2C command for BCLK ready, I think one byte to check is enough and no need for 4 bytes response. 2.The boottime of A113X is too long. Currently I2S output is about 25 seconds after power on. I check the console log, it seems to wait too much time on wlan. Please also consider to improve the boot up time by removing unused components. 3.You can add a version command on console to quick identify image version. Because you will release more image in the future. It will be easy to check we are using the same image. |

Hi River, thanks for you comment. 1. For the I2C command for BCLK ready, I think one byte to check is enough and no need for 4 bytes response. => yes i agree but this is temporary version. i will make some protocol or rule how to communication each other. 2. The boottime of A113X is too long => It is already fix in my side. you can check it in next version. 3. You can add a version command on console to quick identify image version. Because you will release more image in the future. It will be easy to check we are using the same image. => okay, i will change priority of remain jobs. |

Hi Wooshin, Could you release your image to me about the fixing bootime for 2? For the priority of issues, I think the I2S has gaps issue is the most high priority (https://172.18.223.170/vaas/view.php?id=1197). Because, if before DVT3 you can not fix this issue. Our manufacture will not be able to do some tests about the speaker. So, please focuse on mantis issue 1197 first. |

Hi Wooshin, I tested the 0421 A113x image with manually using i2c command on VS550 console. It can show 0x55. I will add code to AMP driver. If no problem, I will close this issue. |

Hi Wooshin, I add code to AMP driver to check the BCLK ready and I think it is OK. Please does not change this I2C command address(0) and return value(0x55) in the feature A113X image release. We need to prepare the code for DVT3 Manufacturing test. |
